Scrapbook Daze Design Team
Scrapbook Daze, Inc. is now offering a program for all talented scrapbookers that will allow you to teach classes at least once a month voluntarily! A $25 gift certificate will be awarded to those who have a full class of 10 or more! The idea of this program is not to sell the class you are teaching, but to promote it.
Some of the guidelines to be on the Design Team are listed below:
-
You must fill out the volunteer application along with the application agreement and design team survey. These can be picked up at our store in Corydon!
-
You must teach, but not limited to one class per month. You must present the idea for the class to Cory Williams, owner, at least one week prior to class date for approval. Materials for your design example and kits will be provided by the store to an extent, but there are some limitations. Prices for each class will vary depending on your idea. You must have some scrapbooking experience, but you don't have to be a scrapbooking expert!
-
Spread the word about your class! Our goal is to have 10 people per class (full class). A $25 gift certificate will be awarded to the design team member who fills a class and has at least 3 purchasing customers.
-
The maximum class time set aside for a classes is 2 hours; time for demonstration, hands on, and shopping.
-
If the supplies you want for your classes are not available in-store, then they can be ordered, but you must set aside 2 weeks for them to come in.
-
We are on a honor system here at Scrapbook Daze, Inc. and would expect our design team members to be loyal and bring back all unused scraps.
Things to submit with your application:
-
A 12" X12" scrapbook page of yourself; including your picture and some little details about you :) for marketing and our website.
-
A short summary of your scrapbooking history for our website and YOUR class flyers!
-
Photographs of 3 projects you have completed. One of which should be a card, 1 spread, and 1 project of your choice! Think outside the box!!! Photos of additional projects are optional.
-
Designers are also responsible for making a description of their class for the newsletter, calendar, and website.
-
Ideas must be submitted a month prior to the class. Class example and kits must be done no later than a week to the class, we prefer it to be complete at the beginning of the month. If the kits and examples are not submitted a week prior for display, class will be cancelled.
